The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no advertising, does not track you across the web, and never sells data. It processes the minimum needed to deliver the site securely, count visits in aggregate, and answer your email.

Legal framework

We handle personal data in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we additionally honour the rights framework of the GDPR and UK GDPR as described below.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). To deliver the site securely, the hosting infrastructure processes standard technical data — IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and timestamps — in server logs. The purpose is secure and reliable delivery and abuse prevention (legitimate interest). Log data is retained for a limited period and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.

Hosting involves processing in the United States. Vercel provides contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, for such transfers.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving, cookieless measurement service. It counts visits in aggregate using anonymised identifiers that cannot be linked to you across websites and that expire within a day. No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no persistent profile.

Contact by email

If you email us — for example to request early access — we process the personal data you choose to send (your email address and the content of your message) solely to handle your request. For EEA and UK visitors, the legal bases are steps taken prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence. We retain correspondence for as long as needed for your request and for any statutory retention obligations.

Local storage

The website stores two small values in your browser's local storage: whether you have seen the intro animation, and your theme preference. These values remain on your device, are never transmitted to us, and are not used for tracking. You can remove them at any time via your browser's site-data settings.

No cookies, no profiling

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking pixels, embeds no advertising technology, and performs no profiling or automated decision-making.

Recipients

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to operate this website — hosting and analytics (Vercel Inc., USA) and our email provider — under data-processing agreements. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Your rights

Under the PDPO, you may request access to and correction of your personal data. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you additionally have the rights to erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Related systems

app.aioniq.net hosts internal AIONIQ systems with separate access controls; it is not a public service. When customer-facing platform services launch, they will carry their own privacy terms.
